Natural fibers, especially wool, are true multitaskers. No wonder – fine wool fibers are known for their ability to retain body heat, become stronger when wet, and adapt well to the body. Compared to plant-based and synthetic fibers, animal fibers are significantly more eco-friendly during use, as they require less frequent and gentler washing. This saves considerable amounts of energy, water, and detergents, and the regenerative properties of the fibers allow for longer use. Additionally, wool's natural lanolin and fiber structure repel odors and dirt, further reducing the need for frequent cleaning.

Many manufacturers now offer wool in recycled variants. PERFORMANCE DAYS recognized this trend early on and increasingly showcases wool innovations. The demand for sustainably produced animal fibers has grown significantly in recent years, particularly in the outdoor sector. Many manufacturers are excited to present their innovations at the fair.
