Where Chemistry and Carbon Connect

PERFORMANCE DAYS, Munich

Expert Talks Stage

Wednesday 23rd October 2024

11:15 - 12:15 CEST

Chemicals management and climate strategies are aspects that will appear in most sustainability strategies; however, they often appear in separate silos and are rarely considered in unison. However, recent decarbonisation work carried out by the European Outdoor Group, has shown that 20% of decarbonisation related mitigation actions were related to dyeing and finishing or other wet processing (e.g., sizing). This panel will bring together topic experts to describe the relationship between chemistry and climate, to present innovative new solutions, along with the challenges of adopting these at scale, and to suggest opportunities for the industry going forward.
